Guitar and Bass Instruction
Kurt has been teaching guitar lessons since 1997. His specialties are rock, classical, jazz and blues. Students from beginner to professional working musician seek out Kurt’s comprehensive knowledge of the guitar. His instruction is tailored to the individual, seeking too empower and inspire their musical vision.
Piano
Kurt has been teaching piano lessons at the Tonal Center since 2012, accepting students from beginner to intermediate aged 5 years and up. Kurt teaches from a traditional note reading method.
Music Production, Songwriting and Logic Pro X
Kurt founded the electronic music production curriculum at Estrella Mountain Community College in 2018. He also has taught songwriting and computer based sound synthesis at the school. Most of Kurt’s production experience is on the Mac platform with Logic Pro X and Native Instruments VSTs and Instruments.
Packages & Pricing
Tonal Center Music offers individual instruction in guitar, bass guitar, piano, electronic music production, GarageBand and Logic Pro X and music theory.
Instrumental (guitar, bass, piano) Lessons- weekly 1/2 hour lessons. $30 per 1/2 hour. Payment is monthly due at the beginning of the first lesson of the calendar month.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the lessons?
Typical lessons are one half hour. Arrangements can be made for longer lessons.
How much are lessons?
Lessons for guitar, bass and piano are $30 per half hour. If hour lessons are arranged they are $60 per hour. Pricing for lessons in music theory, and production/software are made on a case by case basis.
How often are lessons?
Instrumental lessons are usually weekly and 1/2 hour long. Arrangements may be made for 1 hour weekly lessons. I generally do not schedule instrumental lessons less frequently than weekly.
Schedules for lessons in theory and production are made on a per case basis.
Can I reschedule lessons?
Yes lessons can be rescheduled according to the instructors availability. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
